Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test (AUDIT)

The Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test (AUDIT) is a self-assessment tool developed by the World Health Organization to help individuals reflect on their patterns of alcohol consumption and related behaviors. It is intended as a screening instrument to raise awareness of potentially harmful drinking habits.

Please note that the AUDIT is not a diagnostic tool and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

The results are for personal insight only and do not constitute a clinical evaluation.  Your responses are anonymous and are not stored or shared. All data is processed temporarily and discarded when you leave the page.

What is a Standard Drink?

In different countries, health educators and researchers employ different definitions of a standard unit or drink because of differences in the typical serving sizes in that country. Please note that the below image depicts the Australian standard.

⚠️ Important

If your responses suggest a pattern of risky or harmful alcohol use, or if you are concerned about your alcohol consumption, we strongly encourage you to seek advice and support from a qualified healthcare provider. If you are experiencing distress or health complications related to alcohol use, please contact local medical or support services immediately.

In the event of a crisis, please seek immediate support from local mental health services or emergency care.
