Basic Psychological Need Satisfaction and Frustration Scale – Work Domain

The Basic Psychological Need Satisfaction and Frustration Scale – Work Domain is a self-assessment tool developed to help individuals reflect on how their work environment supports or frustrates their core psychological needs—namely, autonomy, competence, and relatedness. It is grounded in Self-Determination Theory and is widely used in research on workplace motivation and well-being.

Please note that this tool is intended solely for self-reflection and educational purposes. It is not a diagnostic instrument and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or psychiatric advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Your responses are anonymous and are not stored or shared. All data is processed temporarily and discarded when you leave the page.

⚠️ Important

If your results indicate significant frustration of psychological needs, or if you feel consistently unsupported in your professional role, consider seeking further guidance from a mental health professional, workplace wellness advisor, or institutional support service.

In the event of a crisis, please seek immediate support from local mental health services or emergency care.
